We had so much fun at christmas this year. My family came out and joined us again this year. They wanted to meet Lynnea's fiance (now husband!) and spend some time with the kids. We love it when they come to visit! My kids roam around saying there names and looking for them days after they are gone.
We trid to start this christmas off with a new tradion of opening our first gift which is a picture of Christ and scriptures so we can read the story of Christs Birth.
They are a little distracted already, then Nixon crashes the party. He loves being right in the middle of the action.
My mom made the kids these cute hats for their stockings. They love them! We also found some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and they are a hit. Every night Hudson asks Paul to tell him a magic treehouse story where he turns into a ninja turtle.

Hudson had been asking for this "Dragon House" for a LONG time. Its all he wanted for christmas. He was so excited! After opening it, he found out that it makes lots of scary sounds like creaking doors, wind, dragon roars etc. It was a little too much for him and he was afraid of it. Oh well, Nanny tried. We ended up exchanging it for the imaginext aircraft carrier because he wouldnt even be in the same room as it.
Here is the aftermath...this part always gets me, i need to learn how to relax.
It was such a fun christmas, we loved having family here and being together. We did decide that we are starting a new tradition next year. Only 4 presents each. We are using the theme Want it, Need it, Wear it, Read it. It will be nice to gift more than toys.
